Endoscopy & Advanced Diagnostics
Why Endoscopy Matters
For most persistent GI symptoms, endoscopy is the only way to see the problem directly – rather than guessing based on symptoms alone. We routinely perform:
- Upper GI endoscopy (oesophagus, stomach, duodenum)
- Colonoscopy (large intestine)
- Sigmoidoscopy
- ERCP and specialised procedures at associated hospitals when needed
Advanced Endoscopic Imaging with AI
Solo Clinic GI uses AI‑enabled endoscopy systems that help:
- Highlight suspicious areas
- Improve detection of small polyps and early cancers
- Guide biopsies more accurately
This technology does not replace clinical judgement – it supports it.
Therapeutic Endoscopy
In many cases, the treatment can be done during endoscopy itself:
- Control of bleeding ulcers
- Banding of oesophageal varices
- Removal of polyps (polypectomy)
- Dilation of strictures
- Stone extraction and stenting in bile duct (with ERCP at partner hospitals)
Whenever an endoscopic option exists that is safe, effective and appropriate for your case, we prioritise it over surgery.
